So I'm writing this great story about mental health in the media and depictions thereof in various sources of media. I have this rad link that I've cited four times, so I probably need to include a link to that site or get accused of plagiarism. This week's blog post is about who I am and what I want to become...in 200 words. I grew up in Northeast Ohio, a child of divorce. Don't get all weepy, I never knew anything different. All I understood of it growing up was that I got two birthdays, two Christmases, two rounds of everything.  I've played video games since I was tiny, and yes, there is, unfortunately, photographic evidence of me playing Track & Field on Nintendo. Flash forward a few years and I finished my Bachelors in Theatre. The only thing I knew I could do with a theatre degree is to go get a better degree, so I went to grad school and met someone who would change my life. I had no idea what research was, but I knew I needed to be doing something. During a faculty meet & greet, I met Dr. Paul Skalski, a professor who studied video games.
